Imagine a New York City without its atmosphere and energy. Standing tall at 60x40 inches, these large-format photographs by Shawn Connell show New York City as a movie backlot, focusing on the city as a set. Captured moments show signs of life – trash piled on the curb, a freshly trodden sidewalk- but without the life.
